Alison Novak, Principal, joined Hudson in 2006, where she oversees mixed-income and market-rate developments as well as Hudson’s middle-income equity fund. Under her leadership, Hudson launched its commitment to green building. Alison has overseen the acquisition, design, financing, construction, and completion of a wide range of housing developments ranging from affordable to high-end, home ownership to rental, single-family to high rise. Prior to joining Hudson, Alison was with the San Jose Redevelopment Agency where she focused on supporting small businesses, public space programming and increasing the production of housing. Alison sits on the board of the Osborne Association and is former board chair of Recycle-A-Bicycle and Women in Housing and Finance, all New York City-based non-profits. Alison was named one of the “Top 15 Women in Real Estate” in 2015. She is a member of the 21st cohort of Coro Leadership New York. Alison received a Bachelor of Arts in Community Development from Grinnell College, and a Master of City Planning and Master of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT.
